  1. i was wondering if you had any or could find pictures of an old Steel villain Dr. Angora Lapin aka The White Rabbit. she was an arms dealer and an early adversary of Steel, i’ve been searching around the net and so far since i guess she was an obscure character there isn’t much in the way of pictures of her out there.

  2. I really like your site and what your doing to promote black Superheroes. I think Black Superheroes will become a game changer for the business. We deserve our props. Have you read my new book? Also our action/adventure webseries will be released in a few months

  4. I really enjoy this website! Very informative!
I came across this website by accident just by surfing the web. It is indeed great to see a website dedicated to black comicbook superheros and villians.
From this day forth i’m a fan.

  5. I was looking thru your gallery and noticed there were no mentions of the black members of the Legion of Super-Heroes(Tyroc,Invisble Kid II, Computo,Kid Quantum,Kid Quantum II, and Gear among others)as a Legion fan I would love to see them included.

  6. Thanks so much for this site, we as blacks need to see ourselves in a positive superhero light. The kids need to have heroes of their own color and race. Thanks for all the information that you have on this site, i hope you keep it up as long as possible.

    I support you.

Take care and have a great year. I will also subscribe to your blog.

    Peace.

  7. I love this website! I’m dressing up as Storm for the Toronto 2011 FanExpo and this was a great website for info on not only Storm but other great black super heroes. Also I love the updates on casting for black superhero movies. Just awesome! 😀

Congrats on the wicked site! Very cool that there’s entertainment and enlightenment on here, much to be said and shown about the black perspective from such a decepti(con)vely simply avenue.lol Keep up the fanatics and philosophy:)

  10. Do you know that I’ve been following this site for almost a year now and this is the first time that I have visited this particular part! Just goes to show you how Computer literate I am. Lol! Anyway, I love your site and I check Every new post. You have hipped me to a world of black HEROS that I never thought exsisted so thanks for creating such a great site just for our brothers and sisters. I just finished my own book and I’m shooting for the glyph awards in Philly to showcase my story and art work which happens to be taking place on my birthday so I’m taking that as a good omen. Once again thank you for creating a site by,about and for our people and a chance to comment on topics for the first time. Once i get the right publishing,be on the look out for my book : BLESSED OF THE DIVINE!

  11. I love the fact that I have found black super heroes so that I can show my two empresses. I would love to contact the creators of some of the female superheros as I make earring made out of wood and I would to use some of these images but I would like to contact the creator as their work is beautiful. This would be a great super hero collection.

  12. Okay I’m all for superheroes “of color” just please don’t go over board with the Africanus or Blackness it rewally takes the luster out for me.

  13. This is a nice website and a very good idea.
I like the fact that you specify “Black is a term used loosely…”, but might I suggest the use of the words ‘People of African Descent’. That’s what I teach my children. There is only one race, human.

  14. Sites like this are so inspiring and educational, thank you to all of you that run the site. I have a little cousin whose 4 years old and he loves Spiderman so the first thing i did was buy him an Ultimate Spiderman comic. He can’t even read yet but I wanted him to see a pictures of Miles Morales and stuff and he was so happy! I look forward to showing him all the other black superheroes that exist and hopefully he will grow up feeling that he can be a superhero too. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for running such a wonderful site.

  15. Peace WOBH!
I published a graphic novel over a year ago with Amazon Kindle. Main character is black.

So far, it is receiving a decent response. Can I share my Silent Sillo blog with you?

To give you a rundown on artwork and a mini read. Please let me know how to better my reach. Or how to get Silent Sillo recognized by
    World Of Black Heroes?

  16. Under Blacks in Gaming, you left out Balrog and Dee Jay from Street Fighter. Since you included the likes of Elena and Sean, then I guess you would include Balrog and Dee Jay. Thank you for the sight and keep up the great work.
